Campbell Fire Department responded to a house fire at 115 Warhurst Road in Campbell on Thursday morning just after 11 a.m.

When the fire department arrived at the scene there was smoke coming through the windows accompanied by a fire in the front room, upon entry they were able to contain the fire.

The fire started as a bedroom fire, and while there is smoke damage throughout the home, it is minimal. 

The homeowner was not home during the fire, but two other residents were inside the home at the time. 

According to Campbell Fire Captain Steve Dubic, everyone inside the home made it out but 1 male is injured. 

 1 male was taken from the scene in an ambulance with smoke inhalation after trying to put out the fire himself and sustained burns on his hands. 

There are currently no updates on his condition. 

2 dogs were also taken from the house and they are currently looking for multiple cats.
