BCI investigating after Struthers chase, officer-involved shooting
A portion of Midlothian Boulevard is blocked off as well as I-680 ramps near Shirley Road.

A chase that started in Struthers led police to Youngstown late Thursday night, according to Youngstown 911 dispatchers.
Part of I-680 in Youngstown was shut down following the chase and officer-involved shooting.
This all happened right around midnight Friday on Midlothian Boulevard near 680.
Several police cars from Youngstown and Struthers were out in front of the Steel City Bar and Lake Park Cemetery.
There were three suspects inside when an officer approached the vehicle.
Struthers Police Chief Tim Roddy tells 21 News the officer was assaulted.
"The vehicle ended up going in reverse and dragging the officer a short distance," said Chief Roddy.
The officer was not seriously injured but he was scraped up.
The suspects then fled on foot, two of them were detained, questioned, and released while the driver still remains at large.
That suspect ran toward I-680 causing officers to temporarily shut it down.
"The Youngstown Police Department was very instrumental in helping us secure the scene," said Roddy. "They helped block off 680 they blocked off Midlothian so we couldn't have done it without the officers of the Youngstown Police Department," he said.
Shots were fired and police are working with BCI to determine who fired them. Two officers are currently on paid administrative leave.
The chief tells 21 News no charges have been filed as of yet but they're consulting with the prosecutor to see what direction to go in concerning them.
