Police investigate attempted murder in Shenango Township
The Pennsylvania State Police Major Case Team is investigating an attempted homicide that sent two New Castle men to the hospital.

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Lawrence Co., Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Police Major Case Team is investigating an attempted homicide that sent two New Castle men to the hospital.
Police say Vince Perrotta and Charles Trott, both 38, were attacked with blunt objects and sharp weapons on the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Shenango Township just after noon Monday.
Trott was flown to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown in critical condition. Perrotta went to UPMC Jameson Hospital. Police had no information on his condition.
Police say charges are pending against two suspects.
