Suspect in Sharon shooting charged with North Carolina murder
A Sharpsville man described by Sharon Police as armed and dangerous has been arrested in a murder investigation in North Carolina.
Tyree Mosby, 18, who police have been looking for since June following a shooting in Sharon, was booked into the Forsythe County Detention Center in North Carolina on murder and kidnapping charges.
According to NBC affiliate WXII, Mosby and a woman have been charged in connection with the murder of a woman in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Police say they found the body of a 45-year-old woman at her home after she failed to show up for work.
A SWAT team arrested Mosby after finding him driving the victim’s vehicle.
Detectives in Sharon have issued a warrant for the arrest of Mosby in June for allegedly wounding a 23-year-old man who was found shot along North Irvine Avenue.
Mosby is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault in connection with the Sharon shooting.
