Zombie horse missing from Girard home
A family in Girard is searching for their zombie horse.
Yes, you read that correctly.
The life-sized zombie horse went missing from the home's Halloween display on E. Kline Street.
The owners, Kevin and Haley Gottschalk, say the statue cost between four and five-hundred dollars.
For the past three years the Gottschalks say they've put up a Halloween display and enjoy seeing the reaction from neighbors, and children passing on the school bus.
However, sometime Sunday night, one of the center pieces to the attraction went missing.
Haley Gottschalk says the life-size zombie horse was staked to the ground and she believes it would take at least two people and a truck to move the display.
The Gottschalks have filed a report with the Girard Police Department, but say if the horse is returned there will be no questions asked.
