21 News hosting 'Conversation with the Candidates' for Youngstown mayor

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The candidates who will appear on the November ballot seeking to lead the city of Youngstown for the next four years are preparing to make their case to the voters.
"A Conversation with the 2021 Youngstown Mayoral Candidates," produced by 21 News, will air on WFMJ on Monday, October 11 from 7-8 p.m. The event will also be streamed on the 21 News app and the 21 News Facebook page.
Broadcast live from Stambaugh Auditorium, Democrat Jamael Tito Brown, Republican Tracey Winbush and Independent Richard Vincent Hill will take part in this open format discussion which will touch on issues including crime, the economy and other matters that are important for the city's present and future.
The discussion will be moderated by 21 News anchor Derek Steyer, with former Vindicator editorial columnist and 21 News political analyst Bertram DeSouza and former Vindicator regional editor Ernie Brown.
This will be an open forum, where panelists will ask questions in no particular order. Candidates will then be given the opportunity to respond to specific comments.
After the televised portion ends at 8 p.m., the discussion will continue on the 21 News Facebook page , where voters can submit questions and hear from the candidates directly.
