Three wounded in shooting at Warren bar

WARREN, Ohio - Investigators could have more information today about a shooting outside a Warren bar that sent three people to area hospitals over the weekend.
Callers to 9-1-1 reported several shots being fired following a fight inside the Parkplace 24 Tavern on Parkman Road just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Witnesses said three cars had been shot in the parking lot and vehicles were seen speeding away.
According to the Warren police report, it was all caught on surveillance video. City officials say the bar has not been a hot spot for trouble.
"There's no nonsense here," said 7th Ward Councilman Ron White. "This is just some of the things that do happen that, wish it didn't but, you know, you can't handle everything," he said.
The bar owner has not responded to attempts from 21 News to speak on camera, but Councilman White has been in contact with the owner who says he wants to do all that can be done to make the facility a safer place.
"He's going to talk with his people and everything about having metal detectors inside the bar and also trying to get security," said Councilman White. "If private security works, OK. If we can get our officers in blue here too, as far as to be outside during closing time and stuff, to make themselves more present within the area, would be wonderful, too," he said.
Two victims were taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center and one to St. Joseph Hospital. One of the victims was said to be in critical condition.
A police report identified only one of the victims as a 46-year-old Warren man with "major injuries".
Police found bloody footprints and several shell casings at the crime scene.
Detectives say the surveillance video shows that the shooter may have been wearing a dark hoodie.
