The CDC is warning consumers about a related multistate E. coli outbreak linked to Josie's Organics prepackaged baby spinach.

Infections have been reported in 7 states, including Ohio.

So far, the CDC has recorded 10 infections, 2 hospitalizations, and no deaths.

The affected baby spinach has a 'best by' date of 10/23/2021, and was distributed nationwide.

The CDC advises those who may have purchased this spinach to throw it away and wash any surfaces it might have touched.
