One person was taken to the hospital after a crash early Sunday morning on the south side of Youngstown.

The two vehicle crash happened just before 3:30 AM on East Dewey Avenue near Homestead Park.

Police tell 21 News one car ran a stop sign hitting into the other vehicle, sending them both into the front yard of a home.

Both cars suffered heavy damage and had to be towed from the yard. One driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
