Poland trustees will allow public to discuss, apply for access to ARP funds
An additional $700,000 will be considered restricted, meaning that it will go towards revenue loss.

Poland Township Trustees discussed the use of American Rescue Plan funds at a special meeting Wednesday night.
The town will be receiving $1.2 million in ARP money and will host several meetings to get public input. Those public meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month beginning in January.
The trustees said that $400,000 of the funds will be mainly unrestricted. Trustee Eric Ungaro said this means that money can go towards general government services.
An additional $700,000 has many different purposes and restrictions. Township officials are considering many different uses for the $700,000 including using a portion to help businesses.
Ungaro added that the board is very empathetic to people in the community and wants to help out those in need.
