Local men arrested in Ravenna Twp. after K9 finds meth hidden in car
Both men are charged with trafficking meth, aggravated possession of drugs and hidden compartments in vehicles.

RAVENNA TWP., Ohio - Two local men were arrested Thursday for allegedly trafficking drugs in Ravenna Township in Portage County.
The Portage County Sheriff's Office Drugs and Violent Crime Unit made the traffic stop on State Route 5.
Officers arrested Derrick Keep of Kinsman and Elmer Portfield III of Sharon during the stop.
A K9 unit uncovered meth in a hidden compartment of the car they were driving. The Sheriff's Office said the bag of meth was stashed behind a dashboard that was accessed through the glovebox.
Portfield had two active warrants out of Trumbull County.
