Students, faculty and community members rallied on Youngstown State University's campus to protest the dismissal of one of their professors who runs the Center for Judaic and Holocaust studies program.
After a Youngstown State University professor was told his contract was not going to be renewed for the upcoming academic year, students and faculty gathered to protest the decision. Dr. Jacob Labendz runs the Center for Judaic and Holocaust studies at the university. Students fear that if Labendz has to go, the program will follow.
