Youngstown Police: One dead after twins play with gun

Investigators say the Jones was "playing" with the firearm when it went off.

YOUNGSTOWN - A 19-year-old Youngstown man is on electronically monitored house arrest as he awaits his next court hearing for the accidental shooting death of his twin brother.

Jalachi Jones was arraigned in Youngstown Municipal Court Wednesday on one count of reckless homicide in connection with the December 27 shooting of Malachi Jones at their Beachwood Drive home.

Investigators say the Jones was "playing" with the firearm when it went off.

The next court hearing in the case is scheduled for February 9.
