Ohio Turnpike to update credit card processor in March, may impact E-ZPass users

The Ohio Turnpike Commission is preparing to switch to a new credit card processor in early March. This switch could potentially affect some E-ZPass customers.
The switch will result in a new Merchant ID (MID), which in turn could cause certain credit card companies to no longer recognize the Turnpike's auto-replenishment payments for some customers.
This switch could impact about 10% of E-ZPass users. If your card is rejected after the switch, you may need to contact your credit card company directly to authorize the payment.
If your payment is still rejected, the most common reason for this is that your card has expired. To ensure that your payment options are up to date, you can access and update your credit card here.
