A portion of the second floor of a home on Coral Sea Drive in Youngstown is significantly after a fire broke out in the home late Tuesday morning.

According to Youngstown Fire Investigator, Kurt Wright, the fire started in a bedroom on the second floor. The cause appears to be electrical.

Wright tells 21 News that the family was not home at the time of the fire and the family's dog was outside resulting in no injuries or casualties in the fire.

The second floor of the home has severe smoke and water damage, resulting in the family needing to temporarily relocate while the home is being repaired.

Wright tells us that the family's homeowner's insurance along with the American Red Cross are helping the family with the repairs.
