After an uncertain future due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Main Street Theater in Columbiana reopened to guests under a new name: the Vagabond Theater.

The theater was forced to close its doors due to financial concerns, but thanks to the Cultural Collective and the Kuflieghtners who purchased the theater, organizers say this is a dream come true for the building.

"This is a staple in our community. If you live in Columbiana, you have some memory in this theater whether it was before it was renovated or after. It's just been devastating not to have that artistic outlet here," said Erich Offenburg, Executive Director of the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce.

Each night at the theater will have a different theme including a classic movie series, a COVID catchup, in which pandemic era movies are shown, as well as theatre, dance and concerts.
