Two men have been indicted by the Mahoning County Grand Jury in connection to the death of Isiah Helms.

Nathaniel Austin Jr., 33, and Jamiyah Brooks, 18, were indicted on charges of aggravated murder, murder and tampering with evidence.

Austin also faces a charge of having weapons under disability.

The charges stem from Austin and Brooks' alleged involvement in the shooting death of Isiah Helms.

22-year-old Isiah Helms had been reported missing on February 1 and was found dead at the Mt. Hope Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Liberty Road the following day.

According to the indictment, Brooks and Austin were involved in Helms's death, which occurred between January 30 and February 2.

The indictment lists Austin as having a criminal record with prior convictions of aggravated robbery, illegal possession of drugs and trafficking marijuana.

Warrants have been issued for Austin's arrest.

Brooks has been held in the Mahoning County Jail since March 9th.
