Second gas leak in four days blocks traffic along South Avenue in Boardman
For the second time in four days, a section of Boardman’s South Avenue is shut down due to a natural gas leak.

BOARDMAN, Ohio - For the second time in four days, a section of Boardman’s South Avenue is shut down due to a natural gas leak.
Police say the gas line was struck at around 10:30 a.m. Monday, causing police to block off South Avenue between Presidential Drive and Maple Avenue while crews worked to contain the leak.
On Friday, traffic was shut down for about an hour in the same area of South Avenue due to a gas leak.
