After Youngstown City Council turned down an ordinance that would have cost $600,000 for AMR ambulance services, several other topics were discussed and passed at Monday's special council meeting.

Passed ordinances included the idea of creating a women's pantry in the city. Council members also voted unanimously for more security to be placed throughout Youngstown parks.

Photo Traffic Monitoring Devices will also be installed to enforce speed limits in Youngstown school zones.
