Woman accused of running her car into Warren cop outside bar

WARREN, Ohio - A 20-year-old Warren woman has pleaded not guilty to charges filed after she allegedly struck a police officer with her car outside a bar, then fled.
Savannah Anderson is free on bond following her arraignment Monday on charges of felonious assault and resisting arrest.
One of two officers responding to a report of a fight at the Up a Creek bar on Market Street early Saturday said he was struck by the front bumper of Anderson’s car as she was driving away.
The officer said he rolled over the hood of the car but landed on his feet and was not injured.
Police say when they found the car parked near an apartment complex on Berkshire Drive SE, a woman let officers inside one of the apartments where they found Anderson in a back bedroom.
According to Police, Anderson kicked and struggled with them during her arrest.
The report says it took several officers to get Anderson under control and take her to jail.
Anderson is free on bond awaiting another court hearing later this month.
