Lowellville will return to in-school classes on Wednesday, May 11 with a staggered schedule for students.
Elementary grade (K-6) will begin at the regular start time. High school students (7-12) will be on a 1-hour delay which is an 8:45 a.m. start.
 
There will be no school in the district on Tuesday, Dr. Thomas, Lowellville's superintendent announced late Monday afternoon. The email from the district stated," After meetings today with the staff and counselors, below is an adjusted schedule that we plan to follow this week. Again, please understand that this schedule is subject to change."
 

There are no classes on Monday or Tuesday, however, counselors are available to students and parents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sports and after-school activities will resume Monday.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will see all students return to normal school day hours.

The prom will take place on Friday, May 13, with the promenade being held at 6:15 p.m. at the Lowellville High School gym and Prom at the Embassy.

Counselors will be available all week for students, staff, and parents. If parents feel the need to keep their child home, absences will be excused next week.
