GIRARD, Ohio - The FBI is working to find out if a man suspected of robbing a bank in Austintown earlier this month struck again Monday afternoon.

A teller at the Chase Bank branch on Liberty Street told police that a man wearing a mask slipped her a note that read “give me $10,000 have bomb and gun.”

According to a police report, the teller handed the robber $1,000 and the suspect then walked out the front door.

The teller told police that the robber appeared to be the same suspect pictured in surveillance images posted by Austintown Police of a suspect in the May 2nd robbery of a PNC branch in that township.

Police released two surveillance pictures taken during the robbery. One shows a man in a grey shirt at the counter holding a note. The second image shows the man leaving the bank.
