Austintown Police ask for help identifying suspect

Ausintown Police are asking the public for help identifying a man they say stole more than $2,000 worth of wire from the Home Depot on Mahoning Ave.
According to a police report, the theft took place at 9:41 a.m. on Wednesday.
Employees tell police the man appeared to be in his 60's, he was wearing a gray suit jacket with a blue and yellow tie. He also had on black pants and sandals.
He allegedly loaded the stolen merchandise into a white Chevy Malibu that was missing the gas tank cover and had a black rim on the front passenger side.
