YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - As the Spring 2022 semester comes to a close, Youngstown State University has halted its weekly COVID-19 Dashboard.

YSU Director of Communications, Ron Cole told 21 News the following:

"With the end of the semester and our numbers continuing a downward trend, we decided to do as many other universities and colleges have done and discontinue the dashboard for now."

"If there's another surge or increase in numbers, we certainly can reinstate the weekly updates. Meanwhile, we remain vigilant in our continuing response to COVID and are hopeful that the worst has passed."

It is currently unknown whether or not the dashboard will return when students return to campus in the fall.
