Security cam records robbery suspect shoving employee at Bristol store

BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio - Trumbull County Sheriff’s Deputies are trying to identify a man who tried to rob a Bristolville convenience store at gunpoint, pushing one of the employees to the floor.
A 42-year-old woman was working the register at Edna’s gas station on State Route 45 Monday evening when she said a man wearing a mask and a hood, walked into the store holding a handgun.
An argument began between the two when the suspect demanded money.
According to the police report, the suspect pushed the clerk to the ground, which was recorded on store security video.
The video shows the suspect pointing the gun at the worker as she places her hand in front of him.
Another employee, a 47-year-old woman, slipped out the front door to report the robbery to her boyfriend who was pumping gas.
The two say the suspect followed the woman outside and herded both her and her boyfriend back inside.
After the three refused to give money to the suspect, he left the store empty-handed and drove away in a silver or gray mid-sized SUV.
Investigators are looking for security videos from other local businesses in hopes of identifying the suspect.
