Crash cuts power to Youngstown neighborhood
A handful of homes and businesses had no electricity Monday morning following a traffic accident on Youngstown’s South Side.

A handful of homes and businesses had no electricity Monday morning following a traffic accident on Youngstown’s South Side.
An SUV sheared a pole along Market Street at Avondale Avenue, cutting power to fewer than 5 FirstEnergy customers.
The crash brought down wires, shutting down Avondale in the area of the accident.
An ambulance was on the scene. As of 4 a.m. Youngstown Police were unable to say if anyone was seriously injured.
FirstEnergy expected power to be restored by 9 a.m.
