It was a scary situation for two people in Warren after a man allegedly shot at them while they were driving early Monday morning.

According to the report, the two victims were driving north on Tod Avenue when a car driving southbound flashed its bright lights as it passed them.

The car turned around in the roadway after passing them and sped up to catch up with the victims.

Police say the car pulled up to the side of the victim's car and the driver, described as a black male, stuck his arm out the window and pointed a gun towards them.

According to the report, the man fired one shot at the victims, causing them to drive away from the intersection where they were stopped.

The victim told police the suspect drove to an area near a bridge, got out of the car and shot into the air.

Police say the victims drove back towards Lordstown and officers checked the car and area for shell casings.

Reports say officers did not find any evidence of shots fired but did find the front passenger door to be damaged by a projectile from a gun.
