'Please don't do this, I'm a single dad,' Domino's Pizza delivery driver carjacked

YOUNGSTOWN - In what was thought to be the last stop of the night for a Domino's Pizza delivery driver ended in a carjacking on Youngstown's south side Tuesday night.
Justin Goncz was dropping off his final order on Alamo Street when he knew something wasn't quite right.
"A gentleman comes out of nowhere and is walking across the street directly towards me," Goncz said to 21 News. "He comes up to me and he asks me, 'Is that for LeBron?"
Goncz briefly looked down at the receipt to find the name of the order. "He goes, 'Yeah, you want to go around the back door and knock hard on the back door. That's the only place he answers."
"Trusting him," Goncz made his way around the back of the house as he kept his eyes on his dark blue Nissan Versa. "I stopped at the corner and kept my eye on him as he was walking back out to the street.
"I take two steps back to really keep an eye on him and that's when I noticed my side door was open and I immediately started running towards my car. I watch him jump over to my drivers side seat. I had enough time to get to the door, open the driver's side door, and say, 'Hey, please don't do this. Please don't do this. I'm a single dad."
The suspect then fled off quickly, leaving Goncz and the pizza order on Alamo Street.
Goncz believes the suspect was the one who placed the order, essentially setting him up. He eventually spoke with the homeowners of the Alamo Street address and they told him they didn't even order pizza.
With the help of the Domino's App that tracks driver's locations, police K-9, Spawn was able to locate Goncz's abandoned phone on a Struthers street.
"They were able to see even the speed he was moving," Goncz added. "He's turning on to this street and that's when the cops went to go swarm and we found he had tossed the phone out of the car."
Goncz described the suspect as a 6 ft., black male with a thin build in his mid-20s. "He had a dark jumpsuit on with white stripes down the side," Goncz recalled."
Goncz gun was also in the car at the time of the carjacking. "For the first time in a long time I did have my firearm in the car. My daughter watches WFMJ and she tells me to be protected in that area," Goncz said.
Goncz saw his debit card was used at the Hubbard Speedway Wednesday morning. As of Wednesday evening the search for his car is still on, which he depends on for work.
"It just happens to be that area," Goncz said, referring to the south side. "I just try to have the best hope in people. I feel like it just might not be the safest bet being a dad."
Goncz told 21 News he never dropped the pizza during the ordeal, "just in case it still needed delivered."
