Two accused of lying to Grove City police about their knowledge of high-speed chase suspect

GROVE CITY, Pa. - Two people have been accused of lying to Grove City police officers about their knowledge of a suspect in a high-speed chase that took place on the evening of July 3.
Police say the chase happened just after 7:00 p.m. on July 3 on South Center Street with the vehicle traveling over 100 miles per hour in the residential district.
Police observed three occupants in the vehicle and retrieved the registration information, but called off the pursuit due to safety reasons.
Later in the evening, police located the two female passengers in the vehicle, later identified as 49-year-old Robin Hall of Slippery Rock and 56-year-old Renee Simms of Grove City.
Police say the two passengers claimed not to know the driver of the vehicle, later identified as 34-year-old Eric Dubois of Slippery Rock.
Police identified and arrested Dubois on July 10 and say they later determined that Hall and Simms did actually know Dubois and charged them both for Obstruction of Justice for lying to the police and impeding the investigation.
