Electric vehicle company Fisker announced more orders for their PEAR EV which is set to be built in Lordstown.

According to Fisker's earnings report, the company says the PEAR development is progressing well with more than 4,000 reservations for the vehicle.

Foxconn, a partner of Fisker, purchased the 6.2 million-square-foot former General Motors plant in Lordstown.

The Fisker PEAR is set to start production in 2024 using their SLV1 platform at the Lordstown plant.

Fisker and Foxconn said they plan to build at least 250,000 PEAR vehicles per year once the plant ramps up production.

The PEAR is in full product development and includes many "unique and world's-first features" according to Fisker.

Fisker expects the base price of the PEAR to be below $30,000.
