Local lawyer conducting investigation on alleged hazing incident at Mohawk High School
NEW CASTLE, Pa. - A local lawyer in Pennsylvania is representing two freshman football players at Mohawk High School in regard to hazing allegations involving students at the school.
Western Pennsylvania Attorney Dallas Hartman tells 21 News he is conducting his own investigation into these allegations alongside the currently-ongoing investigation from District Attorney Joshua Lamencusa.
Attorney Hartman says he can't go into a lot of details about the investigation as it is in its "very early stages," but the Lamencusa is working diligently and is hoping to have answers within a month or so.
The district has postponed Friday football games along with other activities until at least Sunday, August 28, as school officials investigate the incident.
