The Trumbull County Democratic Party has opened up its second location in Cortland in order to reach more voters in northern Trumbull County.

The new location is on South High Street by the Sparkle Market.

Trumbull County Democratic Party Chair, Mark Alberini tells 21 News the reason for the new location is not to mobilize more Democratic voters in a red part of the county, but to make them aware of the big races in Ohio this election season including the races for governor and U.S. Senate.

"This is ideally suited to accommodate the needs of all the precincts and all the Democratic voters in Trumbull County. It's ideally located for them to pick up yard signs, campaign literature, absentee ballot applications [and] voter registration information," Alberini said.

The location will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the whole election cycle.
