The Ohio Department of Education released the 2021-22 School Report Cards Thursday, Sept. 15, which is the first glimpse at education within the schools since the pandemic started.

The report card looks at districts and individual school buildings in the districts, examining Achievement (student performance on state tests); Progress (growth of all students based on past performances); Gap Closing (measures reduction for educational gaps that exist between groups that may be based on income, race, ethnicity or disability); Graduation (based on graduation rates for the district); and Early Literacy (improving reading for grades K-3). Overall rating and College-Career-Military Readiness components are not rated this year.
