Over 300 guns confiscated by Warren Police have been destroyed.
In a Facebook post, the Warren City Police Department says they confiscated nearly 350 gun over the past year and a half.
Judges have ordered the destruction of those guns for various reasons. Some were added to the list after the criminal cases they were involved in ended. Others were turned in by citizens, or modified to fire illegally.
"We would like to commend our Emergency Service Division, Street Crimes Unit, prosecutors and judges for trying to keep the streets of Warren safe for our citizens," said the post.
The guns were taken to Vallorec Steel in Youngstown, where they were destroyed in an electric furnace.
