Bond was set at three-quarters-of-a-million dollars for a Youngstown man indicted in connection with a shooting death that took place downtown.

Johnny Seranno, 23, was arraigned in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Tuesday on charges of aggravated murder, murder, involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and weapon violations.

Seranno was arrested earlier for the September 18th shooting death 32-year-old Yarnell Green Jr. in downtown Youngstown.

Responding to reports of gunfire near Federal and Hazel Street, officers say they saw a large crowd of people fleeing the area and Green laying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Green was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
