Youngstown Police seized multiple firearms from a home on Portland Avenue after receiving a call reporting shots fired Saturday night.

According to a police report, the call came in just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a home in which the subjects went.

Police say they spoke with the owner of the home, who was initially hesitant to speak to officers, but eventually went to get the six suspects, all identified as teenagers.

Police did not find any weapons on the teens, but were given permission to search the house, where police say they found multiple guns and ammunition, as well as multiple magazines for several different firearms including rifles.

Police also found one 9mm shell casing outside in front of the home.

No arrests have been made at this time and police did not report anyone being hit by the gunfire.
