The woman involved in a fatal motorcycle crash in Austintown from April of 2022 has been sentenced in Austintown Municipal Court Wednesday Morning.

According to court employees, 27-year-old Angelica Burns of Youngstown entered a no contest plea and was sentenced to 90 days in jail on one count of Vehicular Manslaughter with 75 days of jail time being suspended.

In addition, Burns was sentenced to two years of probation and 80 hours of community service that must be completed within 90 days. She must continue counseling and her driver's license has been suspended for two years with exceptions for medical needs, work and counseling.

Burns must also pay $750 in fines.

Burns' charges stem from a fatal crash in April of 2022 on Route 46 in Austintown that killed 54-year-old motorcyclist, Stephen Paynter. Police say Burns failed to yield during a left turn causing the crash.
