A juvenile suspect in the shooting incident at the Canfield Fair has been released from detention on Tuesday.

According to Mahoning County Juvenile Court Administrator, Wes Skeels, the suspect has been released and has been placed on house arrest. Additionally, he must attend court-ordered counseling sessions.

Previously, the juvenile had been released from custody on supervised release, but placed back in detention after violating the terms of his release including skipping court-ordered counseling sessions and not following the electronic monitoring order.

As a result he was placed back into custody and his sentencing was rescheduled.

Skeels tells 21 News the juvenile is scheduled to be sentenced on February 22 at 10:00 a.m.
