A dog has died after a house fire on Logan Hill Drive in Liberty Township.

Hubbard, Vienna, Girard and Liberty Fire Departments all responded to the home at 5:36 p.m. 

The fire started in the kitchen and spread to the living room. 

Crews pulled two dogs from the scene, one was revived and transported to a local vet, but the other died. 

The owners were home at the time, but were able to make it out without any injuries. 

The home has been boarded up and the Red Cross has been called out to assist.
