Columbiana county jail officials thwart attempted escape through hole in wall
According to the release, the hole in the wall would not have allowed for escape, as it didn't lead to any areas outside the facility that would have been impenetrable.

LISBON, Ohio - Officials at the Columbiana County Jail thwarted an attempted escape through a hole in the wall.
According to a press release from Correctional Solutions Group LLC, a small opening in a wall was discovered during a "shakedown" protocol.
Inmates were removed from the damaged area and an investigation was conducted, which was forwarded to the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office. Local prosecutors will make decisions as to what charges, if any will be filed.
