NILES, Ohio - Taiwan-based electronic manufacturing company, Foxconn has announced a partnership with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers for the upcoming 2023 season.

The partnership will provide Foxconn with a significant presence season wide through community engagement and hospitality.

The company will sponsor five unique team specialty jersey nights with proceeds benefitting local community organizations.

In addition, Foxconn will also sponsor the weekly "Every Sunday Matters" promotion, which gives back to local charities for each Sunday the Scrappers play a home game.

HWS Baseball Vice President, Jordan Taylor says he's pleased to have Foxconn as the sponsor for this season.

"A partnership between two organizations celebrating 25 years in the Valley and a company helping shape the future of the Valley promotes pride in our past and excitement for things to come," Taylor said.

The Scrappers will begin the 2023 season on June 1.
