John Fetterman checked into Walter Reed Medical Center for clinical depression
According to a statement from Fetterman's office, Fetterman has experienced clinical depression throughout his life, but it's become more severe in recent weeks.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator, John Fetterman had checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for clinical depression Wednesday night.
According to a statement from Fetterman's office, Fetterman has experienced clinical depression throughout his life, but it's become more severe in recent weeks.
Fetterman was evaluated by U.S. Congress Attending Physician, Dr. Brian Monahan on Monday, who recommended Fetterman to get inpatient care at Walter Reed, to which Fetterman agreed.
According to Fetterman's office's statement, Walter Reed staff say Fetterman is getting the care he needs and should be "back to himself" soon.
