Amazon will be making a special and much-needed delivery to the people of East Palestine as they recover from the February 3 chemical train derailment, spill, and fire.

The online retailer announced that its Cleveland and Pittsburgh sites are donating more than 1,400 cases of bottled water to the village.

According to a media release, employees will be loading water onto vans Wednesday morning at the Euclid, Ohio fulfilment center.

Earlier this week, police officers from Fort Worth, Texas delivered a truck load of donated water to the Salvation Army of Salem for distribution to residents concerned about their water.
