Penguins control destiny for top seed in Horizon tournament
The Penguins play at IUPUI tomorrow night.
The Youngstown State men's basketball team can earn the No.1 seed in the upcoming Horizon League tournament if they beat IUPUI Saturday night.
A win over the Jags gives the Penguins at least a share of their first Horizon league title, pending the outcome of the Cleveland State - Milwaukee game Saturday night.
If both YSU and Cleveland State win, they would share the regular season crown, but the Penguins would get the top seed on the fourth tie breaker of beating Oakland twice during the regular season.
If the Penguins lose to IUPUI, and pending what happens in the Northern Kentucky - Oakland game, the worse YSU could fall is the fourth seed.
The Penguins & Jaguars tip off at 7:00pm Satuday in Indianapolis.
