A 131 year-old building that once was home to Garland's Barbecue in Youngstown;s Central Business District went up in flames early Tuesday.

A 131 year-old building that once was home to Garland's Barbecue in Youngstown;s Central Business District went up in flames early Tuesday.
Firefighters were called a little after 2:30 a.m. to the 500 block of Belmont Avenue.
They found smoke and flames shooting from the back of the two story commercial building and ash raining down onto the street.
According to property records, the building was constructed in 1892. The restaurant is listed as "permanently closed" online.
The building was heavily damaged. It's not clear yet what started the fire.
