Warren man sentenced to more than three decades in prison for attack on Walmart employee

A Warren man was sentenced to more than three decades in prison for assaulting a Walmart employee Wednesday.
Omar Williams, 28, was given 36-41 years after being found guilty on a number of charges including aggravated robbery, felonious assault, abduction, disrupting public services and domestic violence.
The charges stem from an incident that left a Walmart employee with numerous injuries including a broken neck in three places and a lacerated liver.
Those injuries came from the attack where Williams violently pushed the victim about 10 feet into a metal display rack in the store.
Surveillance video from the incident showed another employee being stiff-armed into a shelf by Williams.
Trumbull County Prosecutors say he had a prior conviction for aggravated robbery.
Court records list a four-year prison sentence for that case.
