Traffic lights fall into intersection after 2 vehicles collide in New Castle
Two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon at the intersection of East Falls Street and Mills Street in downtown New Castle. No one involved sustained serious injuries.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - Two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon at the intersection of East Falls Street and Mills Street in downtown New Castle.
One car struck a light pole, which caused the pole and a traffic light to fall into the middle of the intersection.
Three people in the vehicle that struck the pole and the other driver were able to get out of the cars before the fire department arrived on scene.
According to the New Castle assistant fire chief, the people involved appeared to sustain non-life-threatening injuries.
Temporary stop signs were installed until the traffic light could be replaced.
At this time it is unknown which vehicle caused the accident. New Castle City Police are continuing their investigation.
