More than 400 Valley homes and businesses, many of which have been without electricity since Saturday’s high winds, were still waiting to have power restored early Thursday.

According to a FirstEnergy website, as of 1 p.m., 368 outages were remaining in the four county area in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Trumbull County had 143 outages; Mahoning 97; Columbiana 43; and in Mercer County Pennsylvania 85 outages remained.

The utility provided a wide range of when it expects power to be restored. 

The estimated time of restoration in Mercer County ranged from 11 a.m. Thursday to 11 pm Friday.

Many neighborhoods on the Ohio side of the state line could see outages last until 11 p.m. Thursday, with some estimates as late as 8:30 p.m. Friday.
