What started as a hobby, quickly turned into an obsession.

"Every day it gets worse and worse. The hobby turns into an obsession, and the obsession turns into insanity," says Rob Berk, Owner of Past Times Arcade.

And that obsession has led Rob Berk to develop one of the largest collections of pinball and arcade games you'll see about anywhere.

"We have over 1600 games here, I have 1200 games in my warehouse. Anyone can have a passion, but in this case, the passion got out of control," says Berk.

Berk decided it was time to share that love of pinball with the Valley and as a result, Past Times Arcade was born. Located in the old Santisi's IGA in Girard, Past Times will hold over 2000 pinball and arcade games from the 1930s to the present day.

Of course, walking down every aisle at Past Times there's something for everyone, something to really ignite that nostalgia. For me, what would you expect out of a meteorologist, I found a "Twister" pinball machine

"Having our museum here gives people a chance to get some education on pinball and to see the interest and passion that I see in it. Once they see it, and play it and, get a feel for the game and the energy from a pinball machine they'll get hooked," says Berk.

Keith Campanelli is the founder of Pinbrew, a weekend-long event at the MetroPlex in Girard that celebrates all things pinball, and says you aren't going to find a collection like this in many other places.

"I honestly think you are looking at the best in the United States," says Campanelli.

When Berk was asked if there were any pinball games he was still on the hunt for... "No, I finally found everything I wanted," says Berk.

Pinbrew, the pinball showcase taking place from April 13th to the 15th, is selling VIP tickets through Friday, March 31st. A link to those tickets can be found HERE, limited VIP tickets still remain and those will give you early access to Past Times during the event.

If you miss the event, Past Times Arcade will be open later this summer.
