Valley communities offer warmth, charging for those without electricity

With the possibility that some people in the Valley may not have power restored until late Tuesday, some communities are opening up centers where people can keep warm and charge their mobile devices.

With the possibility that some people in the Valley may not have power restored until late Tuesday, some communities are opening up centers where people can keep warm and charge their mobile devices

Poland Township Hall, 3339 Dobbins Road available for warming and device charging. If you know of any elderly or those who may need help send them to the Township Hall.

Brookfield Township Administration Building, 6844 Strimbu Drive to charge devices and get warm. Call one of these trustees before 10 p.m. Dan Suttles at 330-770-7785 or Shannon Devitz at 330-502-3478

Shenango Township Building, Mercer County, 3439 Hubbard-Middlesex Rd, West Middlesex, to charge devices or warm up. The Township Building is on generator power.

There is no internet, WiFi, or TV. If you are going to the building bring a board game, puzzle, or book for something to do. Bathroom facilities are open. The kitchen has a deep sink if you want to fill containers with water.
